This position will be based at Spokane, WA
Primary Tasks
- Monitor and review Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) notices to determine whether they apply to the Information Systems environment.
- Perform routine system vulnerability scans on all network attached devices utilizing Tenable Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and all its associated programs.
- Perform STIG and SCAP scans of systems.
- Review, monitor, and report information being sent to the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) for irregular activity.
- Create work orders for relevant IAVM notices and vulnerability remediation to be worked by the Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) team.
Implementation
1. Work with the ITSS team to maintain current and supported software versions on ACAS solution and the SIEM.
Troubleshooting
- Assist the ITSS team to research and remediate known and found system vulnerabilities.
Security
1. Comply with all DoD Information Assurance policies, instructions, and directives.
2. Perform TEMPEST inspections, as needed.
Documentation
1. Inspect and assist with correcting user folder documentation.
2. Update and maintain TEMPEST drawings for all buildings.
3. Update and maintain documents for all ATO/ATC packages within eMASS and XACTA.
Job Requirements:
Skills / Qualifications
1. Must possess a minimum current final SECRET security clearance at time of start and be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
2. Must possess a minimum IA Security certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M at the IAM-I level at time of start. Please reference https://public.cyber.mil/cw/cwmp/dod-approved-8570-baseline-certifications/ for a list of approved certifications. IAM-II and IAM-III level certifications are also acceptable.
3. Must have a good working knowledge in the use of the various Microsoft Office 365 suite of products. Microsoft Visio experience desirable.
Additional Items
- Must be able to lift up to 70lbs.
- Some travel between primary agency site and geographically separated locations may be required to perform assigned duties.
